Japan announces 5G band allocation results
On April 10, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan announced the distribution results of the 5G frequency band.
The spectrum distribution mainly includes the 3.7GHz, 4.5GHz and 28GHz frequency bands, of which 3.7GHz & 4.5GHz are allocated according to 100MHz bandwidth and 28GHz is allocated by 400MHz bandwidth.
The specific allocation is as follows:
NTT DoCoMo: 3600MHz-3700MHz, 4500MHz-4600MHz and 27.4GHz-27.8GHz bands
KDDI/Okinawa mobile phones: 3700MHz-3800MHz, 4000MHz-4100MHz and 27.8GHz-28.2GHz bands
Softbank: 3900MHz-4000MHz and 29.1GHz-29.5GHz bands
Japan Lotte Mobile: 3800MHz-3900MHz and 27.0GHz-27.4GHz band
